Trent Fuller is Lamar's new head football coach, succeeding Eddy Peach. Fuller spent the past four seasons as Bowie's offensive coordinator.
Fuller becomes only the second head coach in LHS history, as Peach served in that post since the school opened in 1970.
Before coming to to the Volunteers in 2006, Fuller served as an assistant coach at Coppell and Colleyville Heritage. He was part of Bowie's emergence as an area power, as the Volunteers compiled a 41-11 record during his four years at the school.
