South Grand Prairie defensive back Cameron Napoleon intercepted a Will Boyette pass on the goal line, giving South Grand Prairie a 38-30 triple-overtime win in Lamar coach Trent Fuller's debut.
It was a frantic ending to a game largely dominated by South Grand Prairie, despite the fact that it didn't take a lead until the final play of the third quarter.

The Trent Fuller Era at Arlington Lamar got off to a wild start.

Byron Steele was an all-district cornerback in high school in Arlington, Texas, who rarely played offense.
But he obviously was an athlete, playing on the basketball team, running the 200 and 400 meters on relay teams in track and field, and excelling in both the high jump and long jump.
He caught all of six passes his senior year at Lamar High School, only two more than the 6-foot-3, 211-pound CSU sophomore caught in a single 61-play scrimmage Saturday at Hughes Stadium.
